MY HAM-TASTIC GIVEAWAY!!!


Comments are now closed guys - the winners of the Giveaway will be announced tomorrow evening (Sunday 19th January 2014). My thanks to everyone who entered!

As promised a couple of days ago I'm holding a Giveaway to celebrate my 3rd Blog-i-versary. So, if you fancy winning a some fab sewing stuff then please enter here! 

There are 2-sets of sewing-items to Giveaway :)
1 for a UK Winner, and 1 for an International Winner.

  
  And here's the list of goodies in my special sewing-bundle of fun :)

  1. A really useful mini 'Repositionable Tripod' great for your sewing and craft photos.
       (The Camera is NOT included LOL!)
  2. A pair of lovely sharp Thread Snips - just perfect to keep right next to your sewing machine.
  3. A packet of Milward Between Hand Sewing Needles.   
  4. A Tailor's Pressing Ham approximately 24cm long x 14cm wide x 12.7cm tall (9½ x 5½ x 5 inches).
  5. And, finally Tailor's Pressing Ham Holder - to hold your lovely new Ham!

    I've just started my first 2014 project, a skirt made from some jersey from my Dad's old sewing stash. In fact I've just blogged the teaser for it... It's a quick & easy start to the year.

  23. Hi, huge congratulations on your 3 year blogging anniversary. Fantastic giveaway... I recieved a new camera for Christmas so a tripod would be ideal! Not to mention that I don't own a pair of thread snips (I've just been using Ikea scissors!)
    I had a revelation over the holidays about a fitting problem on a recent dress make so I'm returning to the pattern pieces and going to sew it again using stashed fabric.

  30. When I was teaching High School Clothing construction, my students referred to the seam roll and the tailor's ham as "the ham & the hot dog"! My first project for 2014 will be a new denim bag.Thanks for offering this generous giveaway!

  53. Ooh, I love the tailor's hem! I've been thinking about making one myself, but for now have always been too lazy and used a bunched up towel instead... I love how sewing/pressing appropriate your fabrics are!
    My first big sewing project will be Thurlow trousers, since I need more nice trousers for my new job. I'll probably finish the red corduroy skirt that I cut out in December first, though. Also, I'm international. ;)

I am finishing my first ever quilt for my MIL (been a bit scared about the actually quilting), taking part in a Doctor Who quilt along for my eldest and I have a whole heap of clothes sewing to do. I think the first thing I will do is a nice mid length skirt for myself though.
